Yes, they are pretty! Kinda scarey sometimes though
-
no they scare me
-
Yeah,I like them,as long as they don't cause the powers to go out,or hit my house, etc, lol!
-
Yes i love watching the lightening with the lights off.
-
Yes I like to watch the clouds form and sometimes I get up in the night just to watch them because they are so awesome!
-
Oh I adore thunderstorms. At night the lightening lights up the sky makes a great light show. Had a good one just yesterday.

when i was a kid, i would be in bed and a thunderstorm would hit and i would think about how nice it was to be in my bed with the rain, wind, thunder, and lightning outside.now when it is storming outside, the sound is soothing and always allows me to fall asleep knowing that i am safe.I was almost struck by lightning 4 years ago. I was trying to take a picture of the lightning from the most beautiful storm I had ever been in.The camera was digital so there was a delay between the time I clicked the picture and the time the picture was captured. So all i got was pictures of raindrops. While i was reveiwing the failed pictures, I started to feel a tingling sensation all over me, my hair stood on end,(I have long hair so that was something to see i bet)I could smell something burning but don't know wht it was. All of the sudden everything went white and the loudest bang I have ever heard in my life happened. I hollered out a "f#%k" me and ran inside. the power was out on the whole street and later discovered that lightning had struck a transformer on the pole in my backyard.( i was in the front yard) It trveled down the cable tv cable and fried my vcr. I now have a very strong respect of thunderstorms but i still think they are beautiful.

No not at all they terrify me i shut all the curtains anl the lights off its horrible
-
yup but you should see my dog...shaking snorting and cuddling :P
-
yep very much. it reminds me of my school days when i used to run to my mom with fear of lightning and the thunder.
-
Very much. They're exciting. Observing a powerful display of nature can be moving. Man made creations can't compete.
-
Yes. I like to "absorb" the static, and often do my Tai Chi moving meditations while barefoot in the park during lightning storms.
-
Thunderstorms are kind of boring to watch. I prefer lightning storms.
-
Yeah they are pretty but a little scarey at times!
-
yes
-
I love thunderstorms...very exciting and mysterious...especially when the power goes out and ya gotta get the candles out...
-
If you think so
-
No, I don't feel safe. I love heavy rain, I can even deal with a bit of thunder but lightening is too much for me. I've grown up with a grandmother who covers all the mirrors in her house during a thunderstorm. Real life isn't always like the sound of music :)
-
I love thunderstorms but I don't love the damage they can do. Nothing is nicer, though than being home with a loved one and watching the weather through the window:-)
-
Yeah they r awesome everytime there is 1 I just have to stand and watch. R the natural light show. Bin out in plenty and they were all wicked!
-
Hell no. Im scared to death of them!!!
-
Yes! I love them.
-
yes i love watching them through the window.
-
They have a very calming effect on me
-
yes i do
-
i love seeing the lightning and the thunder is awesome!!! just hate the damage the strom does afterwards.
-
If I have someone to cuddle with when it's lightening and thundering. Since I have none of the above here in So. Cal. usually, I don't worry about it much.
-
yeah i do. but i just don't like to be out commuting or traveling during one!
-
I love thunderstorms. This may sound weird but it is soothing when i am trying to go to sleep
-
I love them. Only when I'm inside, though.
-
I like them, until they knock out the power & I can't get on AB!
-
I love thunderstorms. They're really calming. I mean, rain alone just isn't as good. I live in one of the rainiest cities in the US (Olympia) and the one thing I really miss about Missouri (my former home) is the thunder and lightning. Here it just rains. Which is fine, it's just not the same.
-
I like them--just not crazy about the lightning.
-
I love thunderstorms.
-
I like thunderstorms :)
-
Hate them!
-
I love thunderstorms but I still think an earthquake is an E-ticket ride.
-
love them.i would love one right now because it's so dry everything is on fire.
-
I love a good thunderstorm.
-
Love love love them. The more cloud to ground lightning the better. I especially like it when the conditions are favorable for tornatoes and the tornato horn goes off. Golf ball size hail I can do without. They hurt your noodle and nick your ride.
-
I like them, but I don't like the fact they make my kids psycho.
-
LOVE THEM. They validate my time at home.
-
I LOVE EM!!!! I love it when its raining, and thundering...and lightening...and flooding (alittle) but when its a thunderstorm with a possability of tornado...I hate it...its kinda freaky...expecially when you dont have a basement. :S
-
I love thunderstorms. I will get a blanket and curl up safely on the porch just to listen and watch the storm. It's even cooler if it's at dusk and you can watch the clouds contrast with the sky.
-
I LOVE them! I used to live by a river and my brother and I would go on the balcony and watch lightning land on the water. Since I don't live there anymore, I open the drapes and just watch the sky. I love the wind, the sound, the flashes. Unfortunate that where I live we only 2 (3 max) a year.....
-
Yep! Especially when I am with other people.
-
As long as it's not in the middle of the night and wakes me up, yes I love them.
-
yep... I like not having to water the yard.... but the dry strikes can miss my section for all I care... give it to the areas with more fire fighters.
-
i love them
-
I like a storm that doesn't knock out our power, but we usually get severe storms where we are (or for a better description, storms that have the potential to produce tornadoes), so I kind of live in fear of them too.
-
When I was a kid I loved pretending that thunderstorms were really bombing raids like we'd see in old war movies. And I secretly wished they really were, that we could watch houses blowing up left and right... That's kids for you.
-
No I like them. It's raining here right now, but we had a bit of thunder this afternoon. (UK) Manchester.
