How do people get chosen for jury duty? Are all the state laws concerning jury duty the same, or are there different rules for being chosen?

In thhe UK people are chosen from the electorial register at random.

In Missouri it is people who are registered voters well that pool wasn't big enough, so now they include licensed drivers as well. Sorry I do not know other state requirements.

I just got a Summons for Jury Duty in the mail a couple of days ago. In California they use DMV rolls and registered voters..I drive a car, have a license, and am a registered voter so I don't know which source they used. :)

In Ohio, you are chosen by voter registration. In Nevada, by auto licensing. Each state is different.
