Yes, a cruise is a great vacation. Went on a 1-week one for my honeymoon. All the food you could ask for, no responsibilities pressing on you, it's great. A good vacation for me is either camping or a cruise.

My brother and his family goes on one every year and he is trying to get my sisters and I to go with him. He says it is the best vacation ever....so from his stand point I will say yes. I have yet to go so personally I cannot comment.

I have been on well over 40 cruises now (the most being 3 weeks ago in the Baltic/Scandinavia and Russia. I've sailed on about a dozen different lines from mega-cruiseships to oversize yachts with less than 100 passengers and I have not yet been on a cruise or a cruiseship that I wouldn't do again. I am convinced they are the best vacation remedy. Value, convenience, options on-board and itinerary. Where else can you enjoy it when someone else cleans, cooks and drives?

Yes, took a week-and-a-half long cruise to Hawaii a few years ago in early December. The weather was great, and so many fun things to do on the ship during the days sailing across the Pacific. We especially enjoyed the fitness classes and other activities where you earned points for participating, and then redeemed the points for many souvenir items -- hats, t-shirts, drink cups, key chains, etc. -- near the end of the cruise. The food was excellent and plenty of it, and the room attendant even styles a bath towel into fancy shapes of animals, so it's fun to also take pictures of those. Planning to take a second cruise next spring, this time sailing across the Atlantic.

I've just been on one cruise and it was pretty nice, but I went being aware of the pitfalls. Everything went pretty smoothly for me, but that wasn't the case with every passenger. Read up on travel advisor (I think it's ".com") for insider info. The more you know the better your trip.

The only cruise that I have ever been on is down the Yangtze River. I don't think that I would appreciate any other cruises because I like finding out of the way places and I think that that would be difficult to do on a ship.

I would feel trapped on a cruise ship. When I hear about all the horror stories of fires, illness outbreaks... makes me like to stay on dry land.

Yes - 7. Excellent opportunity to see alot with most of the details taken care of by the cruise/tour line. Great for all ages and for families. Downside...expense, you are limited by the itinerary of the ship (can't go off on your own or stay longer at a port) and some people just don't feel OK on a ship...

Yes I loved it It was like being in a whole other world. I didnt even feel like I was on a cruise.

I have been on over 40 cruises and think it is the BEST way to travel and see so much for the best value. It is great having someone else drive, clean and cook while I do everything or nothing at all and still be able to see and do things in places that I might not see other wise.

Yes. It was only a couple of days to France, though. P&O.
