Can I play my Xbox on a projection television? Is there any reason not to?

    The reason they advise you not to is that projection screen TVs are prone to image-burn.

    Normal TV Programming consists of changing images - a game like Halo has a health indicator etc. that don't change position. This could result in that part of the screen losing sensitivity to the signal in the long term.

    So long as you aren't on 24 hour marathons you should be ok... :-P

    Yes, the XBOX uses RCA cables for connectivety, so you'll just need to find the right adapter(s) to be able to connect the rca plugs to whatever your projection TV uses.

    There shouldn't be any reason not to connect your XBOX to a projection TV; though it is possible(but I wouldn't worry about it) to get siezures from looking at the screen connected to your XBOX too long especially in darkly lit rooms.
