What does "ramping" mean in relationship to paintball?

    It helps you not to have to work as hard to acheive a higher rate of speed with your gun. When a gun is set to ramping the first few shots are fired as normal, but then the gun increases the rate of fire by certain percentages. Ex. I am firing about 10 bps, i set my gun to 50% ramp, my gun increases from 10 to 15 bps with no extra effort, because 50% of 10 is 5 so add that back and you have a higher rate of fire!
