I have an adult female torti and she's very aggresive with other animals of any kind including cats. We recently in August got another cat from the pound and she was PISSED! She would hiss and her hair would stand up whenever someone would try to pet her or the other cat came around. After about two weeks of her being so mean, she calmed down and now they play together although they do not completely LOVE each other. The female is very territorial of both our apartment and me and if other cats come around outside and she sees them, she will start back up for a few minutes with her meanness. The other cat on the other hand probably wouldn't care if we got a hundred other cats, he just loves to be around other breathing humans or animals!

Probably never like, but perhaps develop a tolerance.
