The best you can do without buying stuff is to simply keep your skin as clean and healthy as possible by taking care of all the things that have any impact on your skins health... Wash daily with a very mild soap or with baby shampoo, and rinse WELL. Do not EVER use scalding hot water, do not ever scrub hard. Change your sheets at least every week, change your pillow case at least twice a week. Brush your teeth well immediately before going to bed, 'cuz the germs you breath out end up on your pillow case and get smeared into your skin. And eat healthy and drink lots of water. The more healthy your diet, the easier it is for your body to keep up with it's duties. Exercise frequently, and shower ASAP to get the sweat off your skin. Also, take a good multi-vitamin to provide your body with everything it needs to repair damage.

Try putting toothpaste on problem areas to dry them out, or lemon juice overnight. Dab a little honey onto a band aid and place overnight over a pimple that you want to come to head. Hydrogen peroxide also works as a mild astringent. I don't know- play around with things that you think would work with your skin type.

Lemon juice worked well for me as a teen.

Treat acne by applying apple cider vinegar straight to the skin twice a day. I read that in the "uses of vinegar". Vinegar is used for many different jobs for cleaning your household, and many uses for personal care. Please click this link→http://www.vinegartips.com/ I hope this helps..Good Luck.

You must go to a doctor. He/She can give you a prescription for Accutane, which will give you much needed relief. If you are female, you must go on birth control, even if you are not sexually active as this medication is strong and will cause birth defects if you become pregnant WHILE taking the medication. Also, your lips will chap and your skin will be dry and subject to sunburn while on this med. Your health insurance will pay for this and it will work. Most home remedies and over the counter meds will not work for really stubborn cases of acne.

Keep your diet healthy and natural, drink lots of pure water, and keep your skin clean without overdoing the cleaning. If you scrub too much or use harsh products, you will cause your skin to overproduce oil, and it will make your problem worse. Witch hazel is a good natural toner. Aloe vera gel is a good oil free moisturizer. Tea tree oil works well applied to blemishes. Use it at night. It is mediciny smelling. Here is an article I wrote about DIY Beauty: http://hubpages.com/hub/DIYNaturalBeauty I hope it is helpful to you! :) Suzanne
