Oh, I've heard of the show, but have never seen it. That's the British show with the two women who make fun of people and their clothes and re-outfit them?

There's an American version now on TLC. Stacy London is a female host, and there's a male host named Clinton Kelly.

Well, I guess I look stupid now. I'm more of a food network guy.
nevermind. .

No, you don't look stupid at all. I'm starting to get tired of Food network. I'm already a decent cook, and they seem to be directing their focus toward people who don't really want to learn real techniques, but rather how to take shortcuts, etc.

The only shows I watch on the Food Network are Alton Brown (I like the history and science behind the food), Iron Chef (both versions) and Mario Batali's show (on occasion). I really do agree with you that most of the shows are about shortcuts and show, rather than real cooking. Give me technical information and I can run with it. I'm also a pretty good cook. And I also watch the Mythbusters!

Cool. I looooooove Alton. I also like Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa.) She's not a real chef, but her recipes are interesting, and some are challenging. I also like Iron Chef. I wish Cat Cora still had a show. I didn't like the network dumping Sara Moulton. I also like Ellie Krieger; she's a nutritionist that does a good job with making healthy food not seem so boring.

Ina never really got me interested. I love Cat Cora (she's hot too!!!), she has some other show where she does kitchen remodels for people. I've caught bits of it, but don't know what channel it's on. Sara Moulton, is she the blond woman? Not familiar with Ellie Krieger.

Yeah, Sara is the blonde. She made that network what it is today. She was a workhorse for them, and they put her out to pasture. Sad, really.

They got rid of her? Wasn't she one of the hosts on the recent Food Network awards?
by Nelson - Jetpacking from bed on September 1st, 2007
They didn't renew her contract. She's on PBS now. I didn't watch the awards, so I don't know. She's a tiny woman; I don't think she's quite 5 feet tall.
