  • Yes! According to WebMD: "Tension headaches can result from muscles tightening in the back of the neck or head due to stress, anxiety, fatigue, hunger, anger, poor posture, or overexertion." http://www.webmd.com/hw/migraines/ty7053.asp As to migrain headache triggers: "Missing a meal (40%), lack of sleep, oversleeping, and fatigue are also commonly reported as triggers." http://www.webmd.com/content/article/66/79575.htm (See the article for more information about possible triggers.)
  • Of course it can cause headache. I myslef get headaches when i dont eat the whole day. But sometimes "eating also causes headaches". Some foods are the reason why you get headaches. • When you don't eat or eat very little, your blood sugar drops and your entire body, including your brain, starves for energy. That can cause a headache.
  • Headaches are not caused by low insulin levels ... insulin has nothing to do with the head, it is produced by the pancreas. When there is no glucose in blood the pancreas stop producing insulin and the body uses fat resources for supplying the necesarry energy. You can fast up to 30 or 40 days and no deadly headache will appear. The idea is that if you continue not eating while having a headache and drink only water, the headache will dissapear, because the body will focus all it's energy on to the cause of the headache, wether it's vains cleaning or brain-toxin elimination, instead of digesting something. Try to eat something while having a headache and you will see that the pain will increase. A head ache is a sympthom of elimination of toxin into blood. A body starts to detoxify only when it has enough energy... and since all the digestion was finished and no food was administered the body starts to detoxify, so a headache appears.
