  • I do homeschooling.. online at ashworth university, it used to be named James Madison High School.. honestly I hate doing it online because theres no way to make friends.. The school is good though.
  • i use a variety. with my kindergartener i use hooked on phonics, school of tomorrow, and abeka. my 8th grader uses school of tomorrow, a beka, and bob jones. i like school of tomorrow because the student is able to work by themselves. a beka has colorful workbooks. abeka sometimes requires teacher involvement. mostly i just read the textbooks for history and ask the questions at the end of each section. you can check out hslda.com, abekabook.com, bjupress.com, and aceministries.com. homeschooling is very rewarding and challenging. if you can read you can homeschool your children. even if you aren't familiar with a certain subject both bob jones and abeka have dvd courses.
  • im homeschooled and i just have it when they send you everything and your parent teaches you ... i honestly hate it you dont learn that much and its hard to pay attention when your mom is teaching you plus you miss out on alot when there are dances your just sitting at home because you dont go to ur friends school and its harder to make friends when you dont see people all the time....homeshooling wouldnt be my first choice.
