    blood parrot chichlids need 30 gallons for the first ond and any thers in the tank need an extra 10 gal per fish. so with 5 blood parrot you will need a tank at least 70gal to give them enough room once they are full grown.

    Hello;

    Please let us know what filters you are using and exactly what is in your tank. Five 5" fish are very hard to keep in a 30-gallon tank. Do not over feed.

    These big fish would do much better in a larger tank.

    Your feeding may be large enough to keep the bacteria blooming all the time.

    Well the main reason I can see here is that you have way too many large fish for a 30 gallon tank to accomodate ...you need to get a bigger tank. Another thing is how often are you feeding your fish? They should only be fed once or twice a day as much as they can eat in about 5 minutes ...DO NOT OVERFEED. But I really think the root of your problem is your fish are too big for your tank.
