  • go to youre local auto zone they can hook it up and reset it for free
  • you can put a hundred modules in it thats not going to fix the problem, it has to be reset in the computer.try disconecting the battery for 20 mins (might work)
  • When a vehicle is involved in a accident, the module records "crash data" or hard codes in it, along with soft codes. The beautiful thing with GM-made cars like Pontiac is that the soft codes are reset themselves. However the hard codes cannot be removed by a dealer or a body shop with a scan or OBD tool. I recommend the best thing to do is to get your original module reset by a company that does that sort of thing. I googled a company www.myairbags.com . They reset my original module for $55+free shipping and sent it back good as new. Thats my experience.
