I was always grossed out about having sex while on my period and therefore never did, however that's probably when I want it the most... which to me seems kinda weird. My hubby thinks its gross too, but will do it if I want to and I haven't decided; If I do, I'll probably try it in the shower like Courtni suggested.

Depends. I have done it before & sometimes it was good. Other times, the guy was sort of grossed out by it and/or I was weirded out - so it wasn't so good.
A big part of it is being comfortable with yourself, but also knowing that the male is 100% okay with the idea. If they haven't tried it before & you don't know how they'll react, it's more unnerving.
Also, sometimes i am just not feeling as sexy as a woman when I am on the rag, so pretty much like any other time that I am not feeling so sexy - sex just isn't the best idea.

Yeah I have had sex with women on their periods but used a condom. Did not seem to be a problem. I think when you first start having sex with someone, they may not want to do this but when they get more comfortable with one another they wont be embarrassed by a little period blood or something. But, do know that this IS blood so be extra careful unless youre 100% sure.
