  • Use a white vinegar soaked cloth. Wring out the cloth so that it's damp. Test first but a damp vinegar cloth should work well. Use a clean water cloth to rinse afterwards and small brush to bring the nap back how it was before.
  • Okay to be honest I have tried everything and nothing works except for MILK. All you do is get a cloth and dab milk on the salt stain with your finger. Then use the cloth to rub in. Leave over night and your good to go!!
  • You can get sprays from Wal Mart, but only spray it at the stain, not the whole boot!!
  • To remove salt stains from leather shoes and winter boots, wipe them with a solution of 1 cup water and 1 tablespoon vinegar.
