taxes and death are a certainty for everyone, no matter what religion they are.

Yes, but what is the problem in believing this? It's their faith, not yours.

Only those obeying God will survive. J.W's always strive for this.

If JWs "strive" to obey God why do so many leave or get Disfelowshipped?
by Smitty777 on February 17th, 2006
So by obeying ("works") God, they will survive? Sounds to me like someone doesn't know the "Good News" of the Bible. The message of the Bible says close to 200 times that it is by faith in Jesus Christ by the grace of God (a gift) that one is saved, not by works. (Don t try to throw out faith without works is dead , just read the context) Once an individual has faith they perform works as an outward show of their faith, but don't receive salvation because of their works. It is by faith and faith alone! Works are the effect of the affect of faith. I pray everyday for the lost individuals ensnared in the false doctrine of the WT. Jesus Christ is not and never has been the Archangel Michael! He is our Great God and Savior!

See http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/67929 for discussion of many passages in the Bible which refute the dangerous Sola Fide heresy. Though I disagree with the JWs on many points, they certainly have this one right. God *DOES* expect and require more of us than just faith. Trying to argue that James doesn't say what it clearly does say (“Faith without works is dead.”) is futile. Martin Luther himself recognized what James said; for this reason, he wanted to remove it from the Bible, as it clearly refuted his own teaching on the subject. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epistle_of_James#Canonicity

Bob, can you answer a simple question for me? Is Jesus a true god or false god of the New Testament? If you can't answer this question successfully, you don't need to be helping others learn about salvation!
by ViceGrip on December 1st, 2006
Where does the Bible give those two options? God cannot lie, and Jesus said that the Father is the only true God, and that is in the Bible. (Heb 6:18; John 17:3)
What kind of god did Jehovah make Moses and the judges in Israel?
