Concerning my 2005 peugot 407sw the engine depollution system warning light appeared today and comes on every time I start the car. What is the problem and how much will it cost to repair?

    What is your driving routine? If you make mostly short journeys then this can cause then problem.

    It has been suggested that running the engine at 4000 RPM for 20 minutes is a possible solution.

    Try motorway driving for a while, at the legal speed limit, this should blow any cobwebbs out of the engine system.

    If this does not work then it looks like a peugeot specialist consultation will be needed.

    Also, this does sound like a common fault with the 407 SW.
