I couldent locate any specific data in reference to your question about RV acident ratings, so I put in a few pictures to give visual as to them not really taking a crash too well. My good friend was travling through Laramie Wyoming as he just got off to sleep, his friend to whom had been driving, fell asleep as well, but bhind the wheel while going down the interstate, then drove off the road just before an overpass. The Class C then rolled over twice, where the entire portion containing the home seperated from the Chevy Van chassis. The end result would have shocked anyone, as the vehicle looked like a flatbed. nothing remained but the smashed in cab, and a twisted-up floor, the rest was in pieces strune about the crash site. No one was injured beyond minor cuts and bruises, thank God. In asking about motorhomes and RV accidents stats, I was wondering about the safety of retirees handling large vehicles on the road, and didn't expect to be sent a link about aircraft safety. Oh well.
