  • Courts have their own rules and practices that they utilize. I think most cases get thrown out because of obvious problems that would arise later upon an appeal.   • A case can be thrown out of court because the judge doesn't like the tie you're wearing. Might surprise you too that a jury of 12 can decide and the judge can ignore their decision and reverse it. Judges can be tyrants.
