  • Cause it's a secret- so they act the opposite to make people think the opposite of the truth.
  • Can't always assume that they are, but if they are...if he has a major crush on you, guys can get nervous sometimes and lose control over their facial expressions, especially if he senses a lot of competition for you. Step back away from everybody, especially if you are very popular. Give him some breathing room, and ask your friends to do so as well, to see if it helps him overcome his anxiety. Relax when he comes around, because in a tense situation, if he is trying to pick up on your facial expressions, if that tenseness causes you to have an unpleasant expression, it may scare him off. A guy can sit there and rehearse exactly what he is going to say to win you over, when he may not realize that he had you at "Hello". If you can't work up a pleasant expression, avoid looking his way, until you can. Every time he sees a pleasant expression on your face towards him, it builds up his confidence. One unpleasant expression can tear that confidence down.
  • My thoughts on this are just thoughts, but as always, it's difficult to give a proper answer to these types of things. It depends so much on the induvidual of course. From experience (and I have thought this myself) guys find it more appealing if a girl makes the first move. So if a guy pretends he doesn't like you, but you secretly think he does, he usually wants the girl to show that she is interested before he does.
  • People who genuinely love you, do not act like they don't like you.
  • Possible reasons I can think of: 1.) Because we don't want to spoil whatever it is that attracted us to them in the first place - some flowers are better left untouched. 2.) We might think that we're not good enough for them.
