If caffeine consumption were outlawed, could you be law abiding or would you break this law?

• Chocolate!! I love it too. I gave it up when I was pregant and nursing b/c of the caffeine, but I went back to it as soon as I could otherwise!

• Yes it would be very hard to not break the law, just think of all the things we would need to give up, not to mention all the medicine we take where they have added caffine to counter the effects of drowseness!

• it's in so much stuff. one of my college profs said that if anyone tried to get caffeine through the current FDA guidelines it would never be approved -- it's that powerful.

• He passed away a couple months ago. He was my first dog. He was mostly Cocker with (we think) some golden retriever. When we got him he had one eye (hence the name Lord Admiral Nelson, who only had one eye), and he lost he second eye to Glaucoma a few months after we got him (therefore the shades). We think he was about 12 when we got him, and we kept him happy for the last year of his life. Sweet boy!

• I feel for you. I asked b/c the picture looks just like a cocker spaniel I used to have. She was a rescue and I looovvveeeddd her sooo much. She got lymphoma which led to her death. I cried for months. She was such a sweet little companion. That was over 11 years ago and I still really miss her.

• Sorry for your loss. Nelson was a rescue from the pound. And about a month ago we rescued another cocker (about 10 years old we are told). They are just great with cats, and that is a big thing with us. Also, thank you for doing a rescue! I will give Fiona (our new girl) a hug for you.

• Thanks! Half the pets I've had were rescues. I think they did the choosing rather than the other way around and we really fit with one another. Thanks for giving Fiona a hug for me! My cocker's name was Emily. I suspected at times that her former name may have been "Lady" but Emily was my name for her and she seemed to enjoy it.
