You are a bit confused on Catholic teaching.

The Church has pondered the suggestion of Limbo for a few hundred years and has decided that it is not a good idea. Limbo was never official doctrine.

Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved." (Mark 16:15-16)

For centuries, people have wondered about children who died before they were baptized. The Bible does not explicitly state that they will go to heaven.

Limbo was suggested as the place where unbaptized babies went when they died. This idea was never official Church doctrine and has been rejected.

The Church now says that it is not sure what happens to unbaptized babies when they die but she entrusts them to the mercy of God.

For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Chruch section 1261: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt2sect2.htm#1261

    With love in Christ.

Are you sure that is what Roman Catholics believe? I think, at best, this is an over-simplification and probably just plain wrong.

The answer by Iamacatholic2 is correct. In addition, when dead, babies are spirits and if accepting of God, also attain heaven. It has been called a Spiritual Baptism. +4

Being christened as a baby is a catholic tradition and it is wrong. A person should be baptised as an adult, in The name of Jesus Christ and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and they will recieve The Holy Spirit. A baby can not do that. Limbo is not biblical, and it certainly is not up to the catholic church to decide if it exists or not. It is not in the bible, so it is not The Lords Word. Babies are children of God.
Jesus said. "Let the little children come to me" also, He said "unless you humble yourself like a child, you will not see the kingdom of heaven". I believe Jesus has His precious babies in heaven, with Him.
