What is the protocol for returning the bodies of deceased U.S. military personnel to their familiess after they arrive at Dover?

    After the remains have been processed at Dover, they are usually placed aboard common carriers, usually commercial aircraft, for the trip to the deceased's home of record. Family members, assisted by military contact teams, make arrangements to have a funeral home pick up the casket at the terminal.
