Firstable, the Gallagher brothers do not have a sister. Liam Gallagher is the lead singer Noel Gallagher is the composer, guitarist, lead member of the band. Paul Gallagher is their older brother, and he is not part of the band. Secondly, Oasis used to be called "The Rain" or "Rain" (nobody knows exactly). They usually played in a pub/concert room called "The Oasis" in the city of Manchester, U.K. There you go. In lots of different interviews, Noel and Liam have had different points of view over that question. But I think the above is the most serious one.
