hi. i can only tell u not to stress too much. stress triggers acne and breakout. also don't put too stong medication on your face. (some of the prescrition medicnes mey be stronger for ur face). i've been suffering from acne and pimple for the past six years. i apply dried orange peel powder made into a paste with plain water or rose water on my face to sooth the pain and itching from the pimples, so that i don't scratch on them, as scrathing can cause furter redness.it's all natural so no harm to ur skin. also eat healthy, veggies water etc. this is a web site that contains sample diet for better skin i recently found http://health.ivillage.com/skin/0,,hmns,00.html did u get ur hormone levels checked? treate it from inside out. good luck.

I suffered from this abomination when I was young, too. My mom worked a 2nd job to pay to have dermabrasion done on my face. It worked for a while, but still some breakouts happened. Stress seems to be the big factor in acne breakouts now. Back in the day, we thought it was from not keeping the face clean, or some chocolate or fried foods. Science tells us this is not the case, so my best advice would be to have hormone levels checked and adjust as needed and try not to stress over stuff. If you are stressed, there are some mild meds that can help. I have heard good things about some of the newer preparations on the market, i.e. pro-activ, but cannot attest first hand to their efficacy. Good luck!!

More sleep, try oil absorbing sheets (Clean&Clear) "acne cream" about $7.49 at Walgreens (Also Clean&Clear) try ProActive's acne kit, but dont try the $50 one, i think ProActive's kind of fake. They always use the same pictures. But i recommend Clean&Clear, i've been using it for 3years, works perfectly.

What do you eat? Many foods aggravate this condition. When the body reacts like this, something is aggravating it. I would try a cleansing fast (of course, supervised) of vegetables and fruits primarily and see if this clears anything up. Dairy can cause lots of symptoms, of course sweets, even hormones in foods. Eat as clean and organic as possible and see if that causes improvement. I also agree with the comment about having your hormones checked. But again, many foods can aggravate the hormone activity as well. Coffee is a real stimulator. Hope this helps.

Have you tried a MicroDermabrasion washcloth and mimosa salve. Also called Tepeschohuite Pomade, made from the Mimosa tree bark (skin tree), used by the american red cross for treatment of burns. Works well on acne and other skin conditions. You can find them online.
