It is not automatic-more pills = more happiness. If you took a lot of ecstacy tablets for example (or even one) it might make you rather anxious or hallucinate and then that might not make you happy. If you overdosed on aspirin etc, it would not be pleasant. For some people anti depressants might make them more happy but not necessarily and should always be taken under doctor's supervsion.Again you could overdose on these.

First off, What kind of pills? Second, It may seem that way at first. But trust me, it would catch up to you, and you'll feel depressed, and may even kill yourself. It's not wise to get hooked on pills, of any sort really.

No, I believe that drugs should only be taken if absolutely necessary in order to substain your life.

Speaking from personal experience, you are only happy while you are on the pills, but once you come down, especially if you are physically addicted, you are more depressed than you were before you ever even took the pills. You have to start taking more pills as your tolerence builds up to get "happy" and it is really a losing battle. You should figure out what it is that makes you unhappy to want to take the pills in the first place and then you might have a chance to be happy without them.

In some cases pills are needed to balance brain chemistry so a person can feel happy just as easily as anyone else.

If it is not prescribed by a doctor then chances are the pills are nothing more than an escape. The problem here is that whatever the person is trying to escape will be there waiting when they return. It is better to deal with the real life issues and enjoy true happiness than to use the pills.

It depends on the pills. Some pills might make you happy, others might make you sad.
