These Turks were able to set up a fairly successful system of administration of regions administrated by Begs who could be replaced more or less like a governor instead of using kings or feudal feifdoms.
The Ottomans were also well versed in (modern warfare)
at their age and they eployed all the latest methods as well, they were not beyond using all the available strategies of diplomacy ranging from spies to deceitful double dealing with rival nation states.
Would you want to be found rotting in a Turkish prison?
