I've come across a hint of information, and can't find verification. I'm wanting to make a will. The hint I heard is that if I name someone as heir, they will be incurring any debts I still owe on. Is this true?
No real property involved, just chattel.

Not true anywhere I know of. Any debts are settled by the estate (real or chattel) before heirs receive a dime. -
