    Cold cloth on the forehead
    Peppermint oil on the forehead
    Drink lots of water to prevent dehydration
    REST! Do not exert yourself while the fever is active.

    I use to rub alcohol on my sons feet when he was little & it broke his fever.

    - Let him wear warm and comfortable clothes, cloth soaked in water with ice, squeeze it and put on his forehead and one on her nape.
    - Sponge bath him (tap water) every hour to lower body heat (focus more on these area: underarm, inguinal part, neck. Don't sponge bath his back). Dont put alcohol on the water. When we're hot the pores of our skin is open, and alcohol contains chemical that is not good to our body.
    - Let him wear socks.
    - Let him eat hot soup so when he perspired body heat will comes out.
    - Plenty of water is a must, frequent urination helps wash away body heat.
    - Let him take his medication on time.
    - Plenty of rest.

    This has been my home first-aid remedy if kids has fever.

    Plenty of rest, take an aspirin, eat healthy foods, such as soup, or whatever. The rest who answered are right on it.
