yes, routinely, and no rice-a-roni anywhere in sight... No one sitting on a cable car munching on a bowl - no rice-a-roni bistros in Chinatown or the Castro... sorry to disappoint.

I live in Santa Cruz ca. (about a 45 min. drive south) and I hate to say it, but my pantry is full of Rice-a-roni. I guess the treat extends outside of the city limits.

I've been there many times and I've never seen anyone eat rice-a-roni. But then again, I never really paid attention to what anyone was eating and I have no idea what rice-a-roni is, besides the fact that it's the San Fransisco treat.

I have never been to San Francisco Ca, my husband went 7 years ago but I was unable to go, I don't believe he ate any Rice-a-Roni but he did go to the Stinking Rose.

Yes, i am from sf. I did not often see people eating rice-a-roni..there were way to many other better things to eat.
