In my state a female officer will conduct the full body cavity search and no other gender can be present, except a doctor if necessary.

Ha ha... Very slowly... I can just see it now... I'm bent over going... "Are you done yet!? Its been three hours!" Luckily I've never had this done by police... Just my doctor.. He tends to search ALL body cavities though... The closest I've come to ANYTHING like this was a pat down going to a concert. I had on a skirt and the officer went up and down my sides but stopped then called over a female officer. She had me spread my legs slightly then she felt up my skirt, the inside of my thighs to make sure I had nothing strapped there. She stayed shy of my crotch but got close. But she did it in clear view of everyone waiting to get in so it was kind of embarrassing. This was just a few months after 9/11.

In jail they will put the gloves on and use a flashlight etc. I have heard of airport security giving laxatives to make sure one has no choice but to flush out drugs and what have you - but I am sure that is reformed by now. Lets face it - to be full body cavity a finger has to go up the vagina the annus and chech under the tongue - I supose the ears also.

Police in my area would NEVER do a cavity search. If I had reasonable suspicion that the person had contraband in those areas I would take them to the hospital and have a physician do it. When you detain someone in public you get into search and seizure laws and you need probable cause. Now airports and so one, you subject yourself to search. But not in public with everyday police. Just my interpretation of the laws in PA

In New Jersey, even when if go to jail, they make you take off your clothes and jump up and down and bend over and cough but they don't really search (as in touching you) any of your body parts

I have often hidden drugs in my vagina and no one has ever found any of the contraband, not even with a squat and cough. It is all in muscle control and I also have a very tight snatch. Christine

Probably more interest now after Paris Hilton had a short stay with the state. In fact police do not do cavity searches they get a medical specialist to do those for them. In prison however they used to, when I spent a short time in the care of the state they did, none of this squat and cough it was fully fingered. Not really much like a visit to the Dr, during my stay it was clothes off and then standing naked while they checked all the seams etc of the clothes before they had a good look at the body and they look in ears, nose and mouth. Under the breasts and in the armpits before the more intimate stuff, which was done bending over a table with feet on two black tiles on floor which were quite far apart. Luckily the woman who did it was very gentle, used a lot of lubricant and like my Dr also kept telling me to relax, it is over very quickly but yep it is fingers in the vagina and a quick feel around and the worst bit finger up butt and twist around.

From my job, I know there is a chair that is used in correctional facilities that you can sit in and they pretty much I suppose do an x-ray. Something like a "body orifice scanning chair".

they make you undress in front of gaurd and hand over each article of clothing one by one so that they can check the seams of the clothing. They they check your hair, ears,nose, mouth making you move your tongue up and down and side to side and underneath the armpits. Then they make you turn around hands upagainst a wall or ths bars of the jail cell lift up one foot at a time and spread your toes to check in between your toes and the bottom if each foot. They also make you hold your hands out in front of you and spread your fingers apart to check in between your fingers. Then the worst part spread your legs apart bent over face down on a desk or counter top. They then use latex gloves and lubricant spreading all around the vagina area and then it two fingers up in the vagina moving around and in out for a little bit then some more lubricant spread around the anal or but hole and two fingers twisting around inside the anal or but whole then it is the old orange prison jump suit and off to the cell block you go.
