    I would go for the M-1911A1 Government Model of course in .45 Cal.APC. It's great for upclose encounters. First-round stopping capability is excellent and with that big but slow-moving 45 slug you don't have to worry about it going through your target and putting anyone else other than the your target in harm's way. You'll notice that this pistol is making a comeback in the US Miliary.
