What is the best treatment for a 'blind' pimple?

    Most people will say to use an alcohol type remedy to dry a pimple. But that just seems to only end up drying and damaging the top layer of skin.
    If you squeeze your skin you risk more damage and only inflame the area.
    My mother taught me this trick. What we do is put an OILY substance on it, leave it alone and chances are it will surface and drain the next day. The best ointment we found was Desitin! It has worked for me and for my daughter who is now grown.
