  • It is their responsibility, and they have accepted that responsibility, and recalled the faulty goods. The Chinese suppliers were not *asked* for faulty goods. Mattel et. should only be boycotted if they hesitated or tied to cover up. As it is, they have admitted the problem and taken the cost of the recall as soon as it became visible. If you punish them now, you are just setting up the next company to hide problems because it won't get any worse if they are caught out. Do not punish those who admit their sins.
  • I disagree, I do not thinkn Mattel asked for lead paint on their toys nor faulty pieces to fall off of their toys. I thikn Mattel got screwed over by the Chinese trying to cut more corners to save money as they do with most of their crap they send over here. This should be the beginning of the fight to save and even grow US manufacturing again and stop settling for defective, dangerous, toxic, and harmful crap from China.
