No. That only gets people killed.
-
sure. i love America. i may not agree with certain things our leaders do, but i'm still patriotic about America as a whole.
-
Not compared to most. Obviously I cheer for my country in sporting events, and I cheer for my countrymen too, but I am well aware that my country is no better than many others, either morally or in terms of living standards, which many others choose to ignore; to me, this is the definition of patriotism.
-
Not in the slightest bit. If anything im a little embarrassed about what bush is doing.
-
Yes, I'm patriotic, although not in an extreme sort of way. I support our national sporting teams, including the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish teams and I was a whole-hearted supporter of the Falklands War. Although I'm not so patriotic that I've blindly supported later wars that we've been involved in.

Absolutley. My son, son-in-law, & nephew are in Iraq fighting for us & I am very proud of them. I am behind them 100%. I am Italian but I am an American first.
-
Yes...even though i fight in wars that my president has stupidly engaged me in, I am still patriotic to my country. I am an Italian-American.
-
I think patriotism is a bad thing. It keeps us divided as a species and gives us reason to conflict with one another. It pits us against each other. Geopolitical disputes lead us to war.
-
Yes, but not blindly in either Country
-
Yes. Patriotism doesn't entail waving a flag and being xenophobic. It's a desire to improve the nation.
-
No, not really.
-
Yes, I am just not fanatical about it. I have never been the flag waving zealot type.
-
Not at all! Do you consider yourself to be a fan of cheap beer and motor racing?
-
Yeah. I still pay the correct taxes even though I know that they're not usually spent wisely.
-
Hell yeah! April 23rd Feb 26th Jan 31st August 10th December 25th April 21st And one of the saturdays in June. Plus all England football games and during major tournaments we are in. The flag gets flown, even though I dont live in England anymore I still fly my flag with pride!
-
I am a patriot. I love my country.
-
Patriotism is viewed differently by very different people. On one extreme there is the person who backs anything the government says and feels it's not patriotic to challenge it. On the other extreme is the person who challenges everything the government says and feels it's not patriotic to follow it blindly. I agree with both sides. Tough one.
-
You defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, every other individual quality will fall into place if this is done. The constitution pretty much covers both ends of the argument for those who follow and those who decent.
-
Nope.
-
No, I am decidedly matriotic.

i am a vetran of the army. This country is great. Several weeks ago I had to go to the vetrans hospital for a problem with my knee. Seeing the troops that gave so much for you and me and our loved ones it was hard but it also renewed my love for our freedom. patiatisom is much more than a flag. Its in your heart, and in every freedom we as americans have.
