  • Supershadow has been making claims about Star Wars storylines since before Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. His claims have been controversial from the very beginning. In the early days, several of us thought he might have an inside link, but very few people really believed that he and George Lucas were best mates. Since that time, there has been no independent confirmation that anything that Mickey Suttle (aka "Supershadow") has to say is much better than recycled information from TheForce.Net at best, complete fabrication at worst. Suttle claims links to Lucasfilm through employees who do not exist, has been known to steal photos of web-bloggers only to identify them as girlfriends or friends at Lucasfilm, and identifies his website as "the official website" of George Lucas. Recently, he was forced to shut down the "premium" area of his website; it has since been revealed by some subscribers that he was apparently recycling information from the premium "Hyperspace" area of TheForce.Net. Supershadow has this to say about his own role in the Star Wars films: "SuperShadow.com played a crucial role in the development of the prequel trilogy. Many fan ideas submitted at SS.com were integrated by Lucas into the final scripts of The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. A majority of film critics attributed the phenomenal success of the prequels to Lucas utilizing the talents of the legion of SS fans to improve the Star Wars saga. Lucas has acknowledged many times in public that SuperShadow is the best thing to ever happen to Star Wars." Yep. We're with ya, Mickey.
