Illegal because I'm just sick of the relentless drive toward political correctness, it is getting out of hand!

Undocumented is just a fancy name for illegal.

I use illegal, because it is three less letters to type and it tells it like it is.

Illegal alien. Because they are illegal, and immigrant to me sounds like someone who is taking legal measures. Undocumented Immigrant is just wayyyy to PC.

    For general use, Illegal Immigrant.

Most of them *Are* undocumented, but I'm sick and tired of people mincing words out of fear of offending somebody.
I have no objection to using statements based on facts, and if those facts seem too shocking, or politically incorrect, or "Offensive" for people, then maybe that's a sign that there's something wrong with the facts that needs to be addressed, rather than masked and numbed with gentle, inoffensive lies.

Illegal alien, I have compassion for them, but they are not legal, and many of them weigh down our economic system.

Hi, juliemac..I have such mixed feelings and am so torn about this whole issue. I believe in following rules..but I also believe in feeding my family..so while it is one of the main issues to be confronted in the United States, I keep avoiding it because I don't have a clear idea of what is right. I think "illegal alien" but everytime I do I feel so bad about the whole situation. :(

Well, I must admit I'm a little shocked that everyone seems to agree on the word "illegal". If you notice on the news and in the press - for example the Newark mayor, officials and newspapers that were very careful to use the term "undocumented immigrants" when describing who executed those students. I'm sick of it too. But based on what I read and hear from people, I suspected that the response would be half and half. Thanks everyone for giving your opinion.
