“True” Christians feel love toward mankind regardless of what holiday people of other faiths celebrate, including Christmas. Muslims for example don’t celebrate Christmas in the traditional sense but they have a great love for Jesus, which is shown toward Christians on Christian holidays. It's the same for people of any faith or no faith. Christians who by definition love Jesus and follow the ways of Jesus would be accepting of any faith that took part in traditional Christmas celebrations.

There are a couple of significant problems with your question. 1) Christians come from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences and "feel" differently about a whole lot of things. 2) A very small percentage people that claim the name "Christian" think Christmas is a pagan holiday that no one should celebrate. Some seem offended that Christians or anybody else celebrate the day. 3) How do those people of other faith "celebrate" Christmas? a) If they celebrate only with selfish gluttony and materialism, it probably makes most Christians sad. b) If they recognize the holiday is a celebration of the birth of Jesus and God's greatest gift to men, Christians generally appreciate it. I have heard non-Christians acknowledge this. c) If celebrated as a season of giving and sharing but with hostility toward the memory of Jesus life, not as happy about it. Without the hostility, pleased (again generalizing).

How do we think God feels about this? First christmas is not a pure christian holiday. This holiday was created with pagan views and customes. This holiday was never part of pure worship. We must remember that God requires that we worship in spirit and truth. Almost verything about christmas is a lie, made up, or part of pagan religions. Do we realy think celebrating a holiday that was originated from mans ideas and false gods realy pleases Almighty God. Of course not. Does God approve of celebrating a holiday that is half christian and half pagan. Of course not. If it is not part of true worship that is spoken of in the bible than who is influencing such a holiday. That would be non other than satan the devil. If christians were supposed to celebrate this holiday it would have been in the bible. There was no comand to celibrate nor any history of Jesus at his birthday party or the apostles celibrating this holiday. The truth is there are far more reasons not to celebrate in order not to offend Almighty God than to celebrate and have a good time with friends and family. Remember we must please God rather than men.

I am sorry but when I read this question my jaw absolutely dropped. Are christians that blind...Allow me to let you in on a little historical fact...The 25th of December was celebrated in ancient days as the birthday of the unconquerable SUN god, (variously know as Tammuz, Mithra, Saturn, Adonis or BAAL)The early Christian church did not celebrate Christmas. Instead it celebrated the sacred festivals mentioned in the Bible, in Leviticus chapter 23. In order to win Gentile converts to the Christian faith, the Roman Church, centuries after the apostolic era, adopted this ancient pagan winter festival of the SUN god and renamed it 'Christmas' mistakenly thinking that it would honour the SON of God. P.S. Christmas was a holiday long before Jesus was born. Who are Christians to decide who celebrates it and who doesn't.

Doesn't bother me at all, although it is my hope that they would understand and appreciate what it means to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
