If this is in windows the only time i've seen people have this problem is when they change the font size of a webpage using IE. That font size control actually controls a bunch of system fonts as well, so suddenly some items can get really big or really small. Have you been changing the font size in IE lately?

If you accidentally press Control and + at the same time this will happen. Use Control and - to reverse it.
