  • Yes . I used to work with someone like that. They were so obnoxious and irritating, that I would just totally avoid them whenever possible. You feel like turning your back on them and slamming the door in their face and yelling " Analyze That You Boob " !!
  • Oh, that sounds like me! :-)
  • My sister. I hate when she does it, which is most of the time. Always the naysayer. I recognized it as a family trait a few years back and started right away to stop myself from doing it because it is a most unattractive and annoying behavior. What really got to me was when she started in with her icky-sweet tone to respond to something I stated one day, and said: I used to think that, too, but ... That was one of the most condescending things I have ever heard, and her premise behind it was totally flawed but I was too disgusted to continue the conversation because she imposed such a self-focused image of bogus superiority that there was nothing more to talk about. We don't talk much anymore. I'm ready to enjoy a good friendly argument or discussion, but to have the other party immediately declare that everything I say is bogus ends the discussion. To receive consistent denials of value is very off-putting.
  • my cousin, who is in college in georgia! i only have to see her a couple times a year and usually it's in a movie theater where we cant talk. i love her anyway, even if she does annoy the jeepers outa me.
  • I don't think so.... ;)
