How come guys dont like chick bands? and why is it easier for girls to relate to "guy" lyrics than for guys to relate to "girl" lyrics?

I don't like chick bands because most of them are horrible. Bands like The Donnas, Kitty, all those bands, really, really, in my opinion, suck.

good question! I am female and very rarely do i like girl bands or even female singers. i may be genralizing here..but for the most part i cant relate to their man hating angst. some exceptions? cat power, arch enemy and reina aveja. im sure there are a couple others...

That's bull. I love many of them.

I dont dislike girl bands because the have "girl lyrics" whatever that means or for any other reason except for the quality of the tunes they're playing. If I dont like something, I just dont like it and I dont it makes any difference what gender the band is.
