Many sites complain when using Opera, but not when using Firefox or IE. Is it because Opera is lacking in standards compliance, or because they check for IE or Firefox and automatically refuse others?

    When webmasters design webpages, they design mainly for the two most commonly used browsers IE and Firefox. Firefox's gecko engine is mostly compatible with IE scripts and code. But, they do not keep Opera in mind. Opera 9.0 and above passes the Acid2 test (Acid2 is a test case designed by the Web Standards Project to identify web page rendering flaws in browsers and authoring tools.) Opera 9.0 will render any page correctly, according to Acid2. Which means the problem lies with the coding used by the webmaster.
