Hey I have the same tv and that blinking light was on for months we tried everything and we finally had a guy come and look at it it's not the lamps or anything like that there are 4 little pieces called Capacitor but they only run 7 bucks a piece. Trust me thats all it is we couldn't believe the whole time we thought it was going to cost hundreds of dollars but it didn't and the tv works great!

I have the same problem--have you been able to fix it, and if so, how did you do it?

you don't need a new lamp if the lamp indicator doesn't have a steady red light on it.. have it checked
by a servicer since you've already tried system reset and unplugging it.. there must have been a power surge
that busted some internal parts of the television

I have the same problem, had a sevice tech come out and he said it needs a DM Module. We were told they were back ordered until the end of Oct., now it is backordered until the middle of Dec. It is approx $700.00 to fix. I wrote to Mitsubishi and no response.
Will not buy Mitsubishi product again.

Get your remote and punch menu and go to -advance features-press enter, you will go to timer, press enter and it will be on timer. Press your arrow right button and go to the on highlight in the right box and arrow up are down to change it to off. Press menu button until you are back to a blank screen are a picture. Note: you may have to turn set off and on again. Good Luck!
