Both Trisha Yearwood and LeAnn Rimes recorded the song, "How Do I Live." It's interesting how that came about....
LeAnn Rimes was aproached by the producers of the movie Con-Air to record this song... but she was only 16 at the time... and after she cut it and the movie was just about to be released, they had second guesses about if LeAnn was old enough that people would understand the meaning behind the song. So they hired Trisha Yearwood to sing it instead. Which was then placed in the movie and on the Con-Air soundtrack.
LeAnn Rimes always thought she did well with the song and later released it herself under her own album. Many radio stations across the USA held contests to see which version was better. As many areas differed so did their taste in which was better.
Trisha Yearwood then sang the song at one of the Country Music Award shows, with LeAnn Rimes in the audience. LeAnn was such a trooper and was one of the first people to stand up and give Trisha Yearwood a Standing Ovation after she finished the song!
