Brake hydraulics leaking/broken.

Break fluid leaking. Get it fixed quick before they fail.

If they broke the line to the front caliper it could be leaking. If you get any air in the line the brake pedal will move freely to the floor. If the brake fluid level in the engine compartment is still at the same level then the front brakes need to be bled.

The last two times I had this happen I had lost a rear brake line and half my brake fluid. I'd yell at whoever fixed the brakes.

Questions If you pump the brakes quickly can you get a pedal? Did this happen out of the blue? if it just happend all of a sudden I would suspect the master cylinder Here is some trouble shooting stuff The pedal is attached to the booster rod make sure this rod is still connected to the pedal assembly. This could cause no pedal. The booster rod pushes on the booster diaphram. If the booster is broken or detached from the fire wall you would not have a pedal. Check for any looseness here. Remove the two nuts that hold the master to the booster and check that the booster output rod moves when the pedal is pushed. The booster output rod pushes on the master cylinder fill the master (both chambers if it has two) and loosen one of the line nuts on the master while someone presses the pedal. Fluid should come out tighten the nut again before they release the pedal or you could pull air into the system. Check the other line the same way. The next step would be to check each brake bleeder for fluid while the pedal is depressed. Make sure to tighten before the pedal is released.

There are several reasons this could happen. One reason is the master cylinder. Another could be the front brakes need to be bled or the rear brakes need bled/adjusted. If u try to adjust the rear brakes yourself the best way is to adjust them just till they start to rub and then back them off just a tad.
