  • Yep, It should work when its dried out, mine did fine :-)
  • Hear what i did... I open the entire phone, then took a hair dryer and kept it at such a distance, that it will not harm the phone, like with too much heat and so on, and dry it at least twice, just to be sure. Then you should power it up and see...
  • It depends How long was it in the water? How deep was the water? My brothers fell in water when we went camping last year, when we were in the river and after that, it didnt work...
  • IN fact just in time you found that your phone had been fallen into the water you must have opened the phone and taken out the battery. And after drying it you must open it.But before drying you must take out the main card and put it into the cellulosic thinner to prevent the possible rusting in the future. To take out the main card in most of the models you must disassemble most of the parts of the phone. This maybe little difficult for you.
  • if you open it completely and sit it in front of a heater or hair dryer it may work for a little while.. but be warned.. the connections on the inside probably will rust and corrode in the future.. then you will experience all sorts of problems!
  • stick it inside a jar of rice (the dry long gfain stuff) - apparently it will dry it out for you and it will live to tell the tale (leave it in there for about 3-4 days. If you do this, I would be interested to know if it works please.
  • yes. my motorola v220 got waterlogged in a river and it still worked. the only problem was the camera stopped working and the backlight didn't work.
  • my fell at my house door where rain fell and water gather,i got it very quickly before it could absorb water, anyway still did i reoved the sime and battery and dried with my towel and inserted it back and guess what 'it worked'.
