  • I would and I do.
  • Of course I would. I NEVER downrate without making a comment, or an answer (if it's a question I downrated). I feel like people should know how and why someone came to the conclusion of disapproval, even if I think it should be obvious to them. And I only downrate if they don't answer the question, or are intentionally vulgar, not if I disagree with or am offended by their answer / question. I'll always own up, because I never do anything I'd be ashamed of or want to hide later.
  • I do downrate, though not very often. I downrate questions and answers that I find offensive without saying anything. I downrate answers that are factually wrong, and post the right answer.
  • I've only downrated offensive or rude answers but no never commented because I thought it was quite obvious! If someone asked, I would definitely provide reasoning. But I wish for not so obvious downratings people would explain. Everyone has a right to their own opinion but I wish I knew the reason behind some of my answers that have gotten downrated.
  • When I do downrate, I always leave a comment explaining why. Usually it's someone that is being really out of line and offensive. Except for Arisztid, I just like down rating him for fun (joking of course).
  • The next time an Answerbag user brings me to tears I'll be sure to tell them.
