  • Go to your family physician for the best professional help.
  • Talk to your doctor, there are LOTS of safe meathods, including something called the mini-pill, just as effective, not as many hormones. You're not alone in this, many breastfeeding women are on birth control. • Use condoms, a diaphragm, a cervical cap, a female condom, the sponge, etc. Use a barrier method. That's one of the advantages of them - is that they don't affect the processes of your body. Starting with hormonal birth control methods while breast feeding is something that you'll have to discuss with your doctor.
  • there's one method that costs a bunch, it lasts up to 5 years, and it is more effective than getting your tubes tied and you can go back to the doctor and get it removed whenever you want in between the time you had it put in and the time you want kids again. i forget what its called but my friend just had it done and says it looks like a little tiny anchor. you should ask about that because it might help with your problem
  • I'm still nursing my 11 month old.. They do have low dose birth control that doesn't effect your milk supply the one i take is called Errin. hope it helps!
