  • No i never did thanks
  • No, the earth is round.
  • No, the Earth is a cube, and snake headed aliens control the Pentagon.
  • Sorry but to say the Earth is flat would invalidate alot of theories that physics & Astrophysics is based on. To do so would require a rewriting of physics on quite a few levels. There are no theories put forward as to how a flat earth would function in space as we know it. Simply put, our current understanding of how the universe works does not allow for a flat earth to exhibit the properties of one that is a sphere.
  • That particular website is a parody. You can see info about the real society here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Earth_Society
  • Of course not. Is it true, though, that the last true Flat Earthers were in Russia during the Cold War? That amazes me if it is true.
  • No, only the Bible does. Below are four quotes from the Bible. The first three are clearly based on the earth being flat, while the last one tells us that its edge is circular. So we can see that the Bible writers understood the earth to be like a disc, flat and circular. 1 - Daniel 4:11 “The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the END OF ALL THE EARTH” 2 - Matthew 4: 8 “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD” 3 - Luke 4:5 “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD” 4 - Isaiah 40:22 “It is he that sitteth upon THE CIRCLE OF THE EARTH”
  • No. But I used to frequent the forums at the Flat Earth Society. At first, like the rest of you, I was appalled that people believed such crap. But then I realized that most of the "Flat-Earthers" there are just people looking to troll idiots that come in and go "OMG THE EARTH IS ROUND LOOK AT THIS PICTURE!!!111" It was great because the FEers had a response for everything. It was an exercise in seeing just how little people knew about science and what is/isn't truth.
