  • I went to Syracuse University, where I became friends with a boy named Adam Roberts. Adam was a heroin addict who had recently started Methadone. He was also on an antidepressant. Neither prescribing doctor knew about the other medication and unfortunately these two meds can cause a psychotic reaction. His parents were very concerned about him and decided to take him to their vacation home in Woodstock, NY for a sort of intervention. Once there, things got crazy and Adam apparently stabbed both of them repeatedly. He then tried to burn the house down to hide the evidence, which half worked. He then went to NYC and confessed to his girlfriend who ran to the cops. He finally turned himself in and is serving a life sentence. The only reason that he didn't get the death penalty was because his aunts and uncles pleaded with the judge that the parents would not have wanted him to die.

  • I once saw a man whose picture was being circulated as a serial murderer and I had the misfortune to open his door and hand him the flier. I fled at once as I recognized his picture and called the police. then we moved to a different town. The man I saw was caught and sent to prison for a very long time. I was so glad to have that finally over and done with.

  • yes i have, and they tryed to take me out!. at the moment they are just trying to intimidate me. by way's i should not describe online as i might get in to trouble. any way it's like they say they are going to get away with it because i cant prove it. this was a little over 20 years ago, I am living in the same spot now days by force and as their was a contract dig a bone appeared, I thought it was the same piece of human bone they tryed to hide 20 years ago. I could be wrong but as they did bery dogs around hear to but hey if they try it with me they will not be happy
  • I went to school with a kid who killed his parents and drove around with them in the trunk of his car. I also went to school with a kid who beat the living pulp out of my boyfriend for calling a girl who shot him with a super soaker a b*tch. The next year he killed someone and is in prison for life. My neighbor and her friend were just recently shot to death in their home. She was 8 months pregnant. Still don't know who did that. I think I'm going to try to send my girl to private school. The school I went to was very violent. I grew up in a nice neighborhood with average public schooling. Unfortunately I could go on and on there was a killing spree in my town early spring. :(
  • A few houses down from me a man came and shot and murdered a wife and her young son, all because the husband wouldn't give him any more money. The thing is, the husband was under no obligation to do so. It was just handouts to help him through life. Well, the younger child came home, a daughter, and found both of them bloody and dead. Had she come home from school any earlier she would have been dead, too. The man was caught later that day. We had neighborhood watch and we got his license plate number. That was 5 years ago. Just this past week the man was sentenced to death by electrocution. What a waste of humanity. So many lives ruined. Oh! but the footnote is that last year the poor little girls lost her father to cancer. Her whole family was wiped out.
  • No that i know, but i probably did, some people do get away with murder, and some might still be walking around next to you, but that's a secret, they won't tell you.
  • 5 minutes away from my house my best friend was murdered by her neighbor and dumped in the lake...
  • The guy around the corner. Name was Bent. He killed his wife in their kitchen and then stuffed her in the trunk of her car and drove half a mile to the Holiday Inn and left the car there. Cops found her in it 3 days later. True. It was on Notorious on TV, my son and his daughter bowled together and he was alsways there. Looked like a jerk...See ya never know what your neighbors are doing inside their houses!!!He's in Danamora for life.

  • About 12 yrs ago my next door neighbor murdered his wife. I was 3days over due with my daughter and the sheriffs knocked on my door at about 2am to ask when the last time I saw my neighbor was. They later extradited him from Alaska and I was subpoenaed to testify and he was convicted without a body of first degree murder. He later tried to hire someone to have her twin sister killed while he was in jail. They added attempted murder to his conviction,. He was given 55 yrs to life.

  • This happened where I used to live: 1. There was this big house owned by an elderly couple. It was too big for them so they hired a lodger to help share bills and what not. The lodger lived there for a good year or two until he went crazy and stabbed the old couple to death 27 times each. And mutilated their bodies. He's now in a psychiatric institution and has been sentenced to life there with diminished responsibility. 2. Loads of people just used to kill each other for drug money just to clear debts. 3. There was a twelve year old boy around the corner from us who killed a friend's mum I think it was. 4. I've never actually lived by him but Ian Brady who was Myra Hindley's accomplish is in a mental institution around the corner from where family live. I think wherever you live stuff like this can happen though.
  • When I was in the ARMY there was a guy who lived in the room next to me,he raped a German Kinder garden teacher and he held a knife to her throat wile he raped her.I was woke up by people screaming and banging and the MP's were hauling him away.I herd he got 35 years in a federal prison and after he does that time he will be turned over to the Germans for his punishment. He was the type of guy you would never expect him to do something like that.

The neighbors wouldn't even talk to us, and we had some really crazy dreams while living there. Lot's of weird stuff happened, and apparently I looked a lot like the girl that was murdered.
  • Not sure of what all these neighbors have done, but three of them were shot and killed outside of where I've lived. One for a gambling debt across the street. Another one was a drive-by...probably drug-related Last one was shot outside his apt.-also probably drug-related
  • I live down the road from a pedophile, and I also live like 2 minutes away from a house where a girl was raped by somebody called the wooded rapist. Two different house though. A cross the street from a house there is an old trailer and somebody stole a bunch of stuff and hid it in there, and there was a cop chase in front of my house. And somebody stole a car and parked it in my neighbors driveway, which is also my house, and there was a cop chase there too, and I knew the person. I think thats all of the stories I can think of for now.
  • I'm sure I have or do, but they haven't been caught yet.
  • I worked with a girl who went to the local Vietnam Veterans hall with hopes of winning the weekly pool in hopes of buying a trailer in which to live with her lesbian girlfriend. When they didn't win, she ducked into the bathroom, came out with a .40 S&W and shot 4 people, 2 fatally, including the Vice-Commander of the Hall(who just so happened to win that night).
  • Multipule murder lived a few houses down from mine.I saw he was getting arrested when 3 cops cars pulled up to his house. Then, I heard the rest of the story on the news. It's supposed to be a nice neighborhood.
  • i was friends with the sister of half of the "vampire killers" ive never heard of the vampire killers, but she said it was her brother (or was it cousin?) that was one of them.
  • Yes, a guy I knew since I was little. (we wern't friends, he gave me the creeps & my mom told us to stay away from him). He was friends with my boyfriend in high school. We got into an argument once & he said he would kill me. I laughed in his face. About a year later, he murdered his mother, almost cut her head clean off. He lived 3 houses down from us.
  • One of my neighbor's best friends was a serial rapist. He was up there every night and none of us ever suspected a thing. The creepiest thing is that one of his victims was the first cousin of our neighbors across the street. Two families who were friends of our family when I was a teenager were murdered by their kids. Both cases hit national news, and you'd probably recognize them if I told the particulars. There have been several others that I've been fairly close to, but it gets too depressing talking about it.

  • When I was 18 and living in California in the 1970's, I sold magazine subscriptions via the telephone in a shoddy little office. The girl I worked with was one of the funniest people I've ever met. She kept me laughing hour after hour in what was a really crappy job. Our boss was a creep and the job was embarrasing. But my co-worker made it so entertaining and told me how she had to keep the job because it was a condition of her probation and getting her son back. She had the scar on her forehead so when she told me she was one of Charlie Manson's girls, I believed her. I quit.
  • When I was 29, my downstairs neighbor brought me his baby and said that he couldn't wake her up. I took her in my arms and tickled her feet and was kissing her sweet little neck. Then I noticed the spot of blood on her little dress ribbon. Because she was African American and I had no first aid training, I did not know where to look for skin color changes in someone not breathing. She gasped and shuddered. I ran to a neighbor to get help, my daughter called 911, we tried breathing and compressions. The police and paramedics came and ran down the stairs with her, breathing into her little mouth....they took her off life support a couple of days later. Shaken baby syndrome. Dad got 17 years. I still see that little bow with the drop of blood...
  • not I.
  • Wow the neighbours are not that prefect like you see on tv. Many have problems some are simple and some are beyond our imagination. Recently a lover stab his lover and lady hse mate and two teenage daughters just across the street, they were foreigners..but still there were stabing cases with love gone all wrong now very frequently mostly violence against women. Men need to control their beastly natures- until then women need to know not to play with fire.

  • I live in the same area that Paul Bernardo and Carla Holmolka rented a house and kept two young girls hostage for a week or two while brutally raping and murdering them both. They videoed most of it, and also murdered Carla's little sister, after raping her. She was 12 I think. The girls were all mutilated after. Carla is free now, she cut a deal at the beginning of it, but Paul is still in prison. It's a creepy feeling to know how close these monsters were to us, and a helpless and almost guilty feeling to think of how many people walked past that house not knowing those poor girls were trapped inside. The city tore the house down shortly afterwards, because it was too painful for the citizens here to see.
  • I lived with a girl when we were kids in a group home, who years later murdered an old lady who lived next to her for some money to go see Reba McEntire in concert. For some reason, that didn't shock me too much. My Ex boyfriend was a gang-banger in California and he told me that he was really into that lifestyle. I told him not to tell me anymore about it, but I was suspicious that he was a murderer.
  • i was in the same room as a murderer as he held me hostage after stabbing my neighbor 33 times to death,he then took me to the poor guy he killed to show me and then back to where he had me hostage for 3 hours...i thought i was gonna die that day...he is now serving life and i never ever 4get that day...october 2nd 1995 as i had just given birth to a girl on 26th septemer..she is now 13years old....so yes i wud say thats as close as i wud ever be and wud hope never to get that close again...
  • We were messing around one night looking at the extensive list of predators/pedophiles/sex offenders in our neighborhood. We NEVER,EVER expected to see the face of the guy that lives 3 houses down from us on the opposite side of the street!!! It showed his picture, address, race, height etc...and the only thing it stated about his crime is this: Sex Abuse/Forced/2nd Degree. He has a wife and 3 high school aged kids and the sick part is a few weeks before we found this out we were going door to door asking if our neighbors had seen our cat and we actually spent quite a bit of time talking to this guy as he told us what a cat lover he is and showed us his cats!!He seemed perfectly normal and there wasn't anything threatening or creepy about him! Just goes to show you,you never can tell!

  • I was in a class once in college, with a guy, who, later, killed one man with a baseball bat, and severely injured another - a gay love triangle, and that's no joke. For years after, it was just the freakiest thing to think of - that I was in a class with this guy. I didn't know him or anything, just who he was. Unsettling, to say the least. The state police caught him when he ran, and I think he was sentenced to 25 years, from what I remember.
  • I lived next door to a young man and woman who had the typical lives of mom dad and daughter. After they broke up and he went to live with his mom aout 25 minutes away, he started doing different drugs and seemed to be a totally different person. He got up one morning, he had his daughter for his usual visitation, gave her a kiss goodbye, wrote "Gone Postal" over the kitchen stove and walked down the street with a shotgun. He came upon a man who was just getting ready to go up the sidewalk in front of his house after his morning jog and he shot him in the head. The police were called, their station was just up the street from where the shooting occured, and they tried to talk him out of doing anything else. Theysent in a K-9 unit to try to apprehend him, but he shot him. They started shooting him, K-9 units are the same as human officers. He was shot about 20 times and almost took his leg completely off. He died that day, leaving behind a daughter and her mother. He was only around 25 years old. Very sad, his ex was my best friend. Her daughter always remembered her daddy and always told everybody that her daddy is in heaven.
  • A man I went to church with as a kid snapped after his split with his ex-wife. He murdered her and his mother-in-law with an axe he bought that day. The police said the murders were so grisly that the bodies were almost unrecognizable. He was picked up after the murders on his way to kill his son with the bloody axe in the back seat of his car in plain sight. He was immediately arrested and after his incarceration claimed that "god" had told him to do it and that he was there to serve his purpose. He proceeded to convert a few people in the penitentiary Manson-ish. Though, not long before his trial he was found in his cell, I believe he hung himself. They called him the Farmville Axe Murderer. May his ex-wife and mother-in-law RIP. They were well known for providing a few "memorable" outfits for that little movie called Titanic. The outfits most known were the jumping scene where he takes off his coat and boots, the dress she is wearing and his entire suit.
  • yes, a boy went missing in my street and was found a month later in a pedo's hous dead. the murderer lived 2 streets from me
