Is the mental state Scientologists describe as "clear" attainable without giving money to the Church of Scientology?

• Actually, that's inaccurate. Prescription drugs, vaccines, shots, etc., that treat physical and medical conditions are totally fine.
  
  In fact, they are required. Every Scientology organization has a sign on the wall advising people that, if they came there to be cured f anything, they should see an MD.
  
  Scientologists don't, however take any drugs (legal or illegal) that creat effects on the mind (psychotropic).

• In fact if you're Tom Cruise you don't have to buy the literature, you get everything free. The more money you possess, the less the Scientologists will expect from you. Strange.

• I doubt very much that Cruise got Scn auditing for free. My understanding is that he paid a lot of money for Scn services in CofS for himself and his family. However, they do get VIP treatment when they are at Flag.

• There are Scientology practitioners in the "Freezone" who have no ties to the "Church of Scientology", do not charge anywhere near the same amount of money, are not incorporated and who do offer the same services that one can find in CofS. One can "go Clear" outside CofS. Of course, one would then be viewed as a heretic in/by CofS but given the fact that they aren't nice to even their own members, this should not be something with which one would have any measure of concern.
